We were there in early June and as it turned out, a paving crew was doing what they do best and the street in front of the hotel was all torn up. A small bit of maneuvering to get into the front door, not a problem. The Hotel sits on a street one block off the main square, the facade is rather plain, but once inside it opens up into a very large and beautiful entry, sitting room, business center, and breakfast room. Since it sits on a quiet street, and off the square, there is no noise at night, sleep quality is good. Our room was large, king bed, table, chairs, big bathroom, good shower, in the rear of the building. The breakfast was very good, big room, either eat inside or out, wait staff always nearby to react to your wishes. The reception personnel were efficient, cordial, friendly, and very helpful. I needed to use a landline for a sim card problem and all of the reception staff at the time were so very helpful. We are very glad to have chosen San Biagio Relais
Stayed a night during my road trip. The hotel is super easy to find & the gentleman was very helpful to direct me to the parking (almost across the street in the school yard). Very close to the main piazza, has great inner courts, very quite. The room was nice, well equipped. Breakfast selection was huge & coffee very good. The receptionist was efficient, cordial, friendly, and very very helpful. And the wifi deserves extra points. I do plan on going to the area & San Biagio Relais is on my list to stay.
We had planned to spend only one night if here but we were so charmed by the entire town and area that we stayed several more. The hotel certainly was a big part of it. This is a delightful boutique hotel in the center downtown. There is adequate parking and you are only a few short steps from the water and a pedestrian street. There are great restaurants in the town as well.
As many others have said, the staff is terrific and the surroundings are beautiful. The maid staff was exceptional and not only clean the wineglasses the reviews the night before and place them on the drying towel along with the wine but also folded my pajamas.
There’s a delightful breakfast and plenty of common spaces to relax in. Like so many old hotels the Internet service is lacking but that goes with the territory with old buildings. It works which is the important thing.
For everything this town has to offer, I will be back.
