The Feniglia and Giannella
The Feniglia and Giannella beaches are 6 km long and lie along the strips of land which link the Ansedonia hillside and the hamlet of Albinia to the Argentario peninsula. You can reach them by sea, by crossing the Orbetello lagoon, or by land from Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano. An endless expanse of fine white sand meets your eyes: on one side there is the sea and on the other there are pine groves and the Mediterranean maquis, populated by many species of wild animals. Along the beaches, close to the population centres, there are beach properties, bars and all the necessary. Moving away a little, however, you will find the more attractive and uninhabited part of the beaches: you can reach them along the many paths though the groves or through the “maze” of sand dunes. You will receive an exclusive discount at the “Il Tramonto” on Giannella beach.
